LA – September 21. 2009 – To leverage the very positive feed-back of its exploratory initiatives in the USA, UbicMedia opens offices in Los Angeles and has recruited Olivier Pfeiffer to manage its North American development. UbicMedia’s participation to the OnHollyood conference in Beverly Hills in May 2009 made clear that the vivacity of the shift towards new internet based paradigms in industries such as Entertainment and Media represents large commercial opportunities. UbicMedia opened its new website www.ubicmedia.com yesterday and unveiled the new version 3.0 of its PUMit System, its enabling technology for a 100% secured high quality content distribution over the internet.

Olivier Pfeiffer is in charge of the business development and sales of the PUMit offering in North America. Olivier was Business Development Director at Polyright, a Nagra-Kudelski Group company. He co-founded Thinking Pictures Inc., a New York based Media and Technology Company. He also set up a number of solutions with clients such as MGM, Dreamworks, Universal, Cinemark Theaters, The New York Times…Olivier holds a BA in Film & Television production from New York University and worked in the film industry for several years.
